Appen Butler Hill is looking for Zulu speakers for an online transcription project commencing in November. The main task involves listening to audio recordings in Zulu speech and typing out what is said or fixing the given Zulu text to match the audio.
Location: Virtual, work from home
3 – 6 month contract
On average 10 – 15 hours per week
Required Skills:
- Must be a native speaker of Zulu from South Africa
- Must be able to identify different dialects from South Africa
- Must have typing experience in Zulu
- Good spelling and knowledge of grammar in Zulu
- Language skills must be current i.e. the language is still spoken and written regularly by the applicant
- Attention to detail
